Car lift table in a workshop: Safely transport the car to the next floor
Designed, manufactured and assembled in collaboration with an elevator company: A car lift table for the safe transport of vehicles between two levels – including an open-looking upper stop.
max. 2,000 kg
5,530 × 2,850 mm
4,500 mm / 950 mm
Task: Reliably lifting vehicles from one floor to the next – within specified dimensions and with the desire for the upper stop to appear visually „light“.
Assembly despite limited space
Due to space constraints, assembly was carried out in individual parts – practical and well-coordinated.
Open-topped and elegant
Railing gates allow a view into the shaft and visually enlarge the anteroom.
Acceptance & Training
Accompanied acceptance by a civil engineer – followed by comprehensive instruction for operation and maintenance.
Limited space: Assembly in individual parts
With the construction site almost complete, the lifting table had to be partially disassembled for installation in order to access the elevator shaft – after which assembly took place step by step on site.
- ✓Practical focus: Installation adapted to the construction site situation.
- ✓Factory test: Lifting tables are generally assembled and tested at the factory.
Platform assembly with finesse
The platform was lifted into the elevator shaft and then connected to the already installed scissor mechanism – with minimal tolerances between the platform and the shaft.
- ✓Tolerances: The platform is only a few centimeters smaller than the shaft.
- ✓Connection: The platform is coupled to the scissors after positioning.
Upper stop: Railing gates with surveillance
Instead of high elevator doors, black coated railing doors were installed: visibility into the shaft, better lighting effect and a more open room impression.
- ✓Forced contacts: The gates only open when the platform is at the top.
- ✓Bolt locking mechanism: The platform is held in place mechanically – no sagging during loading.
View from above into the elevator shaft
The open design allows a view into the shaft. An asymmetrical door solution was chosen at the lower stop to facilitate shunting in front of the shaft.
Planning checklist for vehicle lifts (short version)
For smooth operation of autolift tables, the boundary conditions are crucial – especially in narrow shafts and with rolling loads.
- Shaft & Pit: Take into account dimensions, pit depth (here 950 mm) and access/service.
- Crash/gate logic: Gates/railings should only be released in their final position (forced contacts).
- Mechanical lock: Bolt/locking concepts to prevent sagging during loading.
- Acceptance & instruction: Acceptance by a specialist body + training for operation/maintenance.
