Lifting table for the transport of goods on 3 floors

Scissor lift table for transporting cars and goods to 3 storeys.

Planning & Shaft Plan
Shaft dimensions, conduits, electrical installations, lighting, load specifications for the structural engineer.

Basement at ground level, ground floor with 2 roller doors, attic with revolving door.
Security
The roof area is monitored with a light grid – obstacle detected = system stops.

A German car service company from Bavaria was looking for an elevator to transport cars and goods from the basement to the ground floor, but also to the attic.
The challenge was that there was a sloping roof in the attic – therefore a classic freight elevator was not feasible.

We drew up several proposals and draft plans and worked out the ideal solution for the customer.
A hydraulic scissor lift table with a load capacity of 3000 kg, a platform measuring 6000 x 3000 mm and a working stroke of 7620 mm.

After placing the order, we have Shaft plan created in detail. This includes not only the shaft dimensions, but also all necessary empty conduits, electrical installations, lighting from the location of the control unit to the load specification for the structural engineer.
As soon as the shaft was finished, we checked the natural dimensions on site and started production.

We often supply the gates as part of the project. In this case, the customer provided them according to our specifications. This meant that after the gate installation, we had to travel to Bavaria again for commissioning, training, and handover.

For after-sales support, we have concluded a lift table maintenance contract with the customer to maximize the lifespan of the system and avoid operational failures.

Project details of the lift table for 3 floors

The scissor mechanism with its base frame is lifted from the lifting table into the shaft using a special crane.

At the lowest level, in the basement, the lift table is flush with the floor. The pit was built to our specifications for this purpose.

A roller shutter door was installed in the basement, which only opens when the lift table is in this position.
Two roller doors were installed on the ground floor. This allows cars and goods to drive into the hall from the outside when the lifting platform is on this level.

The two doors on the ground floor open independently of each other, depending on which floor is being loaded.

The guide rails, which we always supply with such systems, can be seen on the side of the shaft. These ensure that the lifting table is raised evenly.

Stop in the attic - challenge mastered

As you can see from the picture, the top floor has a sloping roof and therefore a reduced room height.
To prevent the goods from colliding with the roof, the entire roof area is monitored by a light curtain. As soon as an obstacle is detected, the system stops.

A revolving door was installed at the upper level, which can only be opened when the load lift table is in that position.
