Our German industrial customer was looking six hydraulic scissor lift tables, for his to lift coils or its drums and to lower. These drums have a weight of up to 20,000 kg and a maximum diameter of 3000 mm.
What was challenging was that the drums were very heavy and the load had to be transferred only via the running surface.
 

We therefore had to specially reinforce the platform on these running surfaces so that the lifting table was not damaged when loading or when the drums rolled over.
 
The Heavy-duty lifting tables have a load capacity of 20 tons, a platform size of 3200 x 2800 mm and a stroke of 1250 mm. What was special here was that the lifting tables were mounted in a deep pit. This meant the customer was able to lower the level and also raise it above it. In the middle position, all lifting tables are level with the hall floor. To ensure that no step is created during loading, we have equipped all lifting tables with a bolt lock.

Lift tables during testing

Every lifting table that leaves our factory is checked by quality assurance immediately after final assembly.

For this project, the customer gave us a checklist, which we completed. Only after this confirmation were we allowed to deliver the lifting tables.

During the final test, a stress test with overload is always carried out. You can find a video about this below.

Due to the large dimensions of the heavy scissor lift table we had to take it to an external painter.

For this project, the customer specified the exact layer thicknesses of the primer and top coat. We adhered to these exactly and recorded them using a test report.

Assembling the scissor lift table

After the parts have returned from the painter, they are connected together in final production. In this project we were able to complete all six lifting tables at once. Immediately after assembly, each lifting table is precisely checked and approved by quality assurance.

After the lifting tables have been checked, they are loaded directly onto the semi-trailer. This is not done by the truck driver, but by our trained staff.

Our robust and solid special lifting tables are always sent directly to our customers. This prevents delays or transport damage caused by reloading by the shipping company.

For this project we had to organize a special width truck.
