lifting table as a lifting platform

An Austrian industrial company was looking for a way to get its employees to the desired working height. Sounds very simple, so we presented one of our standard aerial work platforms. As the project continued, however, more and more needs and wishes arose from the customer, which is why we added a lot of additional features.

The load capacity was set at an impressive 3000 kg, as not only the people and the tools have to be lifted, but also a special roof structure provided by the customer. This roof structure is placed on our railing, which we have specially reinforced, using the hall crane. The roof is covered with tarpaulins or plexiglass panels so that the employee on the stage is additionally protected. This special construction is not fixed, as the stage is sometimes used with and sometimes without it.

The platform of the hydraulic lifting platform is 4000 mm long and 2000 mm wide. The lifting range is from 1000 to 3500 mm and can be continuously adjusted at the push of a button.

Details of the aerial work platform

Fixed railings are installed on both short sides and part of one long side. In addition, a monitored gate is installed on this long side, which closes automatically using spring force so that the employee does not have to put down his tools. The gate only opens when the platform is in the lowest position.

scissors, drive and control

The scissors are made from a stable tubular construction. The motor and control system are installed between the scissors under the platform so that they do not have to be installed outside in the production hall and cause interference.

The aerial work platform is already tested in the factory and delivered to the customer ready for connection. All that is left to do is connect the power and the platform is ready.

Monitored railings on one long side

The side facing the machine is equipped with monitored railings. The aerial work platform only moves when these railings are plugged in. As soon as the worker has reached the appropriate working height, he can lift out one or more elements in order to work unhindered.

The worker must always ensure that lifting the railings does not result in a fall hazard.

Stationary aerial work platform - or more?

We have equipped the essentially stationary aerial work platform with an additional base frame with feet. The customer places the work platform somewhere else when it is not in use.

If the forklift is not available, we have also included additional lifting eyes which can be used to transport the platform with the crane. These solid lifting eyes also serve as transport security.
